Faulty dresses 'leave brides distraught'

A new BBC Wales1 show is set to look at the plight of numerous women in Swansea who have been left disappointed by their bridal gowns.

The 12th series of X-Ray airs tonight (October 10th) at 19:30 BST and includes interviews with ladies who claim to have been duped into paying for faulty dresses, the BBC reports.

Viewers may be inspired to invest in wedding insurance after hearing how the straps on one woman's gown broke as she was getting ready for her big day.

Meanwhile, another lady was left out of pocket after her outfit failed to arrive.

Presenter Lucy Owen attempted to interview the owner of La Belle Bridal Wear, which is at the centre of the scandal, but finds her to be uncooperative.

Many of those featured in the programme explain how their disastrous dresses ruined what was meant to be one of the best days of their lives.
