Thieves steal wedding video from newlyweds

The importance of investing in wedding insurance may have been highlighted by one couple's plight, after they explained how they had their video tape stolen during a burglary.

Michelle McKenzie and Bill Brasch told the Komo News how they were devastated to discover the footage of their special day had been lost following a break-in at their sister's house.

The couple had tied the knot at the property in front of 60 friends and family, with Ms McKenzie's brother-in-law having videoed the entire celebration.

"You can't replace those moments, so to not have them, it's hard. Obviously, it is tough. I waited a long time to get married," the former bride stated.

Two men are believed to have robbed the house just days after the ceremony, with a whole host of possessions taken.

The news comes after the Bournemouth Echo recently reported how wedding coordinator at the Elmers Court Country Club Sarah Vernon cheated brides and grooms out of money so she could repay debts of more than £20,000.
